Quality Control Technician – Lowell, MA

Position Overview

The Quality Control Technician ensures products meet food safety, quality, and HACCP standards by working closely with production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test finished products (brix, viscosity, pH)
  • Maintain accurate batch records and documentation
  • Identify and document nonconforming materials; implement QC holds
  • Perform sanitation verification (swabbing, allergen testing)
  • Conduct in-process inspections and pull samples for testing
  • Monitor temperature, humidity, and production conditions
  • Inspect raw materials and finished goods; review labels

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • 1+ year QC experience (food industry preferred)
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Flexible schedule required
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus

Work Environment

  • Standing/walking throughout shift; lifting up to 60 lbs
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, machinery, and food production conditions
