Job Description

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision inspection equipment, blueprint reading, GD&T, and statistical process control in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, optical measuring equipment, and hardness testers
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T requirements
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
  • Monitor and analyze quality data using SPC methods and charts
  • Identify and communicate quality issues and support corrective actions
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of quality control or inspection experience
  • ASQ certification(s) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
  • Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and charting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Experience with quality management software is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
