Job Description
Quality Inspector Supervisor Positions, located Sharonville, Ohio:
1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts available.
7AM-3:30PM
3PM-11:30PM
11PM-7:30AM
Monday- Friday, with mandatory overtime on Saturdays.
up to $22/hour, BOE
Position Summary:
Directs shift processes related to production activities to create efficient and timely outputs of product to ensure Customer production requirements are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise inspectors to ensure work is performed per JIW. Unresolved issues to be presented to Management.
- Conduct inspector training per the QPC training matrix and process.
- Monitor department employees to deliver established production rates.
- Optimize production thru put and manpower allocation.
- Monitor and review reject volumes generated at all inspection locations.
- Reject coordination for shift – collected, containment and storage.
- Perform all Quality directed audit functions specific to job position requirements. I.e. Layered Audits, product audits, etc.
- Inform management of employee performance against QPC policy’s and procedures.
- Monitor and collect all inspector daily documentation data for their shift. I.e. attendance log, p charts, training logs, JIW’s, etc. Log and submit to the Supervisor for approval.
- Audit inspector documents for proper use; legible and completed by each inspector at the end of their shift. Documents to be signed off by Supervisor after verification.
- Ensure adequate incoming material and process time is available to certify stock to meet customer shipping requirements.
- Responsible for area workstations to meet WPO (Work Place Organization) requirements.
- Ensure that inspectors must keep areas clean, organized and efficiently developed to conduct all inspection processes. Tagging, reject containment, certified stock, etc. must all be accounted for in proper layout.
- Responsible for communication of issues to Management in a timely manner, (I.e. ISO noncompliance, safety concerns, etc.).
- Participate in required meetings.
- Follow safety rules, procedures and regulations established by QPC and/or assigned facility.
- Perform all other duties and assignments as requested by management.
- Complete understanding of the QPC Handbook and Policies.
- Review Supervisor communication log with previous shift Supervisor. Sign for review verification
