Job Description

Production Worker
1st shift, 6am-2:30pm
$16.00 hourly 

 
PRIMARY DUTIES
Properly rack incoming parts for coating processes. Maintain workspace cleanliness while following Job Order directions, specifications, and quality requirements. 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Rack and un-rack parts, on and off, various alloy fixtures
  2. Ensure parts for racking match the parts listed on the Job Order
  3. Ensure the count of parts for racking matches the count of parts indicated on the Job Order
  4. Properly set up the parts for racking according to the company’s standard operating procedures
  5. Ensure proper alloy racks are selected for the coating process indicated on the Job Order
  6. Monitor the production schedule to ensure that incoming and outgoing parts are being efficiently processed through the department for on-time delivery to customers
  7. Inspect parts while racking, and bringing any part deficiencies to management’s attention
  8. Skillfully unpackage parts according to company guidelines
  9. Clean surfaces of incoming parts to ensure they are free from ink, oil, dirt, and debris
  10. Ensure rack fixtures are clean after each process and ready for the next set of parts   
  11. Assist with packaging completed parts securely for shipment and as directed by management
  12. Assist with production line assembly processes as directed by management
  13. Ensure tooling and workspaces are kept clean and neat
  14. Actively participate in production improvement initiatives
  15. Complete training as required for production, including forklift training
  16. Efficiently perform production duties while working in a safe manner and maintaining company safety standards
  17. Maintain organization of racking areas, shipping materials, and workspaces to ensure a clean working environment  
  18. Complete other duties as assigned by management
