How You'll Make an Impact (Responsibilities):
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be instrumental in optimizing our production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and innovation. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, and material flows.
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing process issues, utilizing root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Design and procure manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment to support production needs and improve efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manufacturing costs, improve product quality, and enhance production efficiency.
  • Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow charts, and engineering change orders.
  • Work closely with design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams to ensure seamless product realization.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in production environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in aerospace, defense, or a highly regulated industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in manufacturing process development and optimization.
    • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
    • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling and fixture design.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
    • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
