Job Description

Job Title: Sandblaster (3rd Shift)
Location: Ogden, UT 84404
Type: Contract (3 Months – Potential Extension)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr + 15% Shift Differential ($23.00/hr on night shift)
Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday, 10:00 PM – 7:30 AM, and every other Thursday 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Training Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1 week)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, and prepare metal surfaces for finishing or coating processes
Remove rust, scale, paint, and other contaminants from components using abrasive blasting methods
Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality and proper surface preparation
Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and company procedures when operating blasting equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the blasting area and equipment
Properly handle and move materials within the work area
Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience with sandblasting, surface preparation, or similar industrial equipment preferred
Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures
Reliable with strong attention to detail
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
IMPORTANT NOTES
All candidates must be available to complete one week of training on day shift before transitioning to nights
Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
First Day Start Time: 8:00 AM
Shift differential applies once training is completed and the employee transitions to the overnight schedule
