RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assembles various component parts for producing Glass to Metal Seals, assuring product integrity

• Can perform green level jobs.

• Verifies paperwork, material and picking ticket for accuracy.

• Loads and unloads oven.

• Documents necessary changes and provides product and process feed back to Cell Leader and Supervisor.

• Keeps informed and has a general knowledge of production issues.

• Performs other miscellaneous duties and special assignments that may be assigned.

EDUCATION & SKILLS:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D required.

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.

• Must be able to read product drawings

• EQUIPMENT USED:

• Magnifying lenses, tweezers and microscopes, drop indicator and verniers.

• EXPERIENCE:

• Generally, 6 months of glass-to-metal seal or comparable small part assembly experience. Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

• Must have good hand eye coordination and attention to detail.

• Must have dexterity to hand small parts and work with magnifying lenses and microscopes.
