Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect mechanically complex parts, subassemblies and assemblies against required quality standards (i.e. hardness, thickness, painting, plating) using blueprints, drawings, process sheets, engineering change orders and written & verbal instructions
  • Utilize instrumentation including dial indicators, optical comparators and coordinate measuring machines to measure dimension where tolerances may be exacting and parts are intricate in nature
  • Identify defects and calculate defect rates against specified control limits, inspect and tests parts, subassemblies and assemblies after rework, modifications or repairs

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required or higher preferred, ability to read & write English required
  • Passing results on background check & drug screen required
  • 2.5+ years mechanical inspection experience required, proficiency in trigonometry & geometry as well as strong grasp of GD&T principles required
  • Availability & willingness to work overtime as required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong adaptability & flexibility and attention to detail

***This is a 12-month temporary-to-permanent position, all of our agency's temporary workers become eligible for medical & other voluntary coverage benefit plans including dental & vision insurance at 60 days worked.
