Job Description

Title: Senior Operations Director
Department: Operations

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manufacturing
-    Buyer/Planner raw materials and packaging
-    Production Scheduler
-    Coordinate all personnel time off and second shift activities
-    Coordinate material movements to optimize warehouse space. Especially important with increased production from second shift.
-    Provide guidance for IRE Production project
-    Review production batch records before going to Quality; review and approve specs, batch records, and forms
-    Create new forms: Cleaning, Discrepancy forms, Material transfer forms, Inventory Adjustment/investigation forms, Training logs
-    Create and Update SOPS: Material disposal, Cleaning for Production, Cleaning for Warehouse
-    Communicate between production and QU to determine turnaround times needed for samples, which batch files should be prioritized, other project priorities and strategies, etc

Manage Warehouse HQ
-    Manage disposal project for expired and quarantined material – haz and non-haz
-    Coordinate unreleased final product between HQ and 3PL, for storage in 3PL until release.
-    Communicate with drivers when needed for certain urgent requests
-    Point of contact (and also Joan) for inventory adjustments and investigations
-    Support annual HQ inventory (Rachel point person)

Manage Warehouse 3PL
-    Development of new cleaning schedules for all 3PL warehouses, based on needed cleaning and cleaning contractor quotes and capabilities.
-    Plastic pallet recycling program development
-    Warehouse walkthroughs and Work Order follow-ups
-    Point of contact for facility maintenance

Operations
-    Operations Excellence project (with Claire Daniels – reliance on Power BI. We are behind on this project compared to the other regions)
-    Manage Regeneron Account which includes, but is not limited to, the Open Order Report and delivery coordination of the OOR, monthly Review and KPI reporting meetings, coordination of material movement between US & IRE, and SCAR response guidance and coordination. Additionally, serve as point of contact for procurement, sourcing inquiries, and other communications.
-    Initiate New Part number forms for all Biopharm Products; assign new part numbers for Maynard raw material, packaging, and final products as needed with associated data management responsibilities
-    Oversee Ecovadis report and maintaining organization of related ESG initiatives & projects
-    Troubleshooting AX issues for customer service, warehouse, and production; point person between Karan and BNL Sci/BrandNu for AX troubleshooting and global projects.
-    Personnel Reviews and Compensation Reviews for direct reports in Operations, Procurement, Production, HQ Warehouse, and 3PL warehouses.
-    Work with HR to identify and fill vacancies to support business needs
