Senior Technical Recruiter – Aerospace & Defense
Job Description
- Remote/home office setup
- Company-issued laptop and cell phone provided
- Collaboration with geographically dispersed teams and hiring managers
- Own the full life cycle recruiting process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer presentation, and negotiation
- Proactively source and build a robust pipeline of qualified engineering and technical talent, with a strong emphasis on passive candidate sourcing
- Partner closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to align on hiring needs, priorities, and timelines
- Manage 30–35 open requisitions simultaneously in a high-demand, high-expectation environment
- Conduct behavioral-based and competency-based interviews to assess candidate qualifications and culture fit
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with thorough evaluations and recommendations
- Educate candidates on role expectations, company culture, and career opportunities
- Maintain data integrity and compliance within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Adapt quickly to changing business needs, priorities, and hiring demands

- Aerospace and Defense industry support
- Full life cycle recruiting experience with a strong sourcing focus
- Proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and similar sourcing tools
- Experience managing high-volume requisitions (30–35 at a time)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders including hiring managers and HRBPs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Outlook
- Aerospace and Defense recruiting experience highly preferred
(RTX, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, or similar environments) - Engineering and/or IT recruiting specialization
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly adaptable and comfortable with change
- Strong relationship-building capabilities
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of recruiting experience
OR - 10+ years of related recruiting experience in lieu of a degree
- U.S. Citizenship required
- $35–$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
