Job Description
Shipping/Receiving Clerk Role and Responsibilities • Receive products from vendor deliveries via SAP • Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list • Update the product inventory as products are received and added to our inventory • Organize returns to vendors and fill out any RMA paperwork as necessary prior to the shipment being picked up • Field and communicate line movement calls/E-mails to Material Handlers • Verify Stock – Proactive communication with Supply Chain Personnel • Update JIT Vendor PO’s • Filing as needed • Answer AP/Purchasing invoicing inquiries • Screen all shipping E-mails for proper expediting • Check branch truck receipts • Contact branches for finish good locations • Research orders for Material Handlers • Support Expedite Order process • Other related duties as assigned Education & Experience Requirements • High School/GED • 2-3 years experience Qualifications and Preferred Skills • Good communication skills • Outlook • SAP experience preferred • Strong Microsoft Office experience
