Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and shipping operations. This role is responsible for order fulfillment, shipping preparation, inventory handling, and material movement while maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Create shipments and manifests to ensure timely and accurate order processing
  • Pick, pack, and prepare domestic and international shipments
  • Prepare shipments for trade shows and special events
  • Pack hazardous materials in accordance with shipping requirements
  • Receive and process finished goods
  • Operate material handling equipment safely
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience

Skills

  • Experience operating forklifts, stock pickers, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and step ladders
  • Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing demands
  • Willingness to work overtime during peak periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
