Senior Shipping & Receiving Specialist
 About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Senior Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our warehouse operations team. This is a hands-on position where you’ll play a key role in keeping products moving in and out efficiently, safely, and accurately. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy leading by example in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.
What You’ll Do
  • Shipping and Receiving
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
  • Process packages through shipping systems (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.)
  • Create shipping documents such as bills of lading and packing lists
  • Ensure proper labeling and select the best shipping methods
  • Inspect incoming shipments, report any damage or discrepancies
  • Stock and organize items in warehouse locations
  • Maintain accurate receiving documentation
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed)
  • Monitor shipping supply inventory and restock as necessary
  • Follow packaging, labeling, and safety standards consistently
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations experience
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred
  • Familiarity with carrier shipping software (UPS, FedEx, DHL)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead by example and support team success
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Dangerous Goods shipping experience (a plus, not required)
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift 50+ lbs. and maneuver heavier items with equipment
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the day
  • Ability to work in typical warehouse conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, etc.)
  • Willingness to wear PPE and follow all safety guidelines
