Skilled Trades Recruiter – Hybrid Remote

Job Summary

Overview:

As an HW Staffing Solutions Skilled Trades Recruiter, you will work daily to incorporate the core principles of our company “Dignity, Excellence and Service”. Your primary role encompasses responsibility for delivering candidates to our customer that is a leader in the construction trades throughout New England. Through high quality service to customers and employees, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with both clients and applicants. Your role incorporates total accountability for the success of a strategic recruitment plan, including all aspects of compliance, quality, and successful client development.  We are seeking a Recruiter in a hybrid role in Worcester County with flexible schedule in order to staff for drivers, heavy equipment operators, carpenters, electricians and plumbers for full-time opportunities with excellent benefit offerings.

We are seeking an experienced full-cycle recruiter who will collaborate with hiring managers on a regular basis. Ability to attract candidates using various sources, such as social media networks and employee referrals. Ability to travel to network with various skill trade groups.

The individual hired will have the flexibility to work remote but must be able to work onsite a couple days per week to attend recruitment and scheduling meetings.

Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:

• Establishes recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools.
• Evaluate candidates' strengths compared with hiring managers' requirements through evaluation and screening.
• Develops pool of qualified candidates.
• Uses internet sourcing and employee referral program leads to recruit candidates.
• Proposes approaches to alternative sources of applicants to fill open positions.
• Posts positions to appropriate sources, internally and externally.
• Resume mining as needed.
• Assist client and operations teams as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years heavy recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for skilled trade employees in a residential service or construction industry is highly preferred.
• Prior experience working in an Applicant Tracking System.
• Ability to successfully meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, candidates, employees, and client contacts.
