Job Description

Supervise non-exempt manufacturing personnel for instrument final assembly manufacturing of various product lines. Coordinate day to day activities. Provide input on manufacturability, ergonomics, test improvements, routings and capacity. Operate and manage department within budget. Must be willing to work on a 2nd shift as needed. Prior supervisory experience.

• Cross functional interaction with other teams – needs to have good communication skills verbally and written


• Positions is mostly people management heavy with quality and manufacturing work, root cause analysis, etc.

• Top 3 Skills/Experience: Strong communication with your team and other teams, understanding lean concepts and root cause analysis, supervisory experience

 

Job Requirements

• 2nd shift – 10 hours, M-TH with rotating Friday shift every 3-5 weeks 3:30pm to 2:30am

• Manufacturing experience in Med Device or Manufacturing ISO FDA controlled environment

• Experience leading teams up to 50 individuals

• Position requires 4-year degree – Engineering preferred, but general okay + 5 years minimum experience OR HS Diploma/GED + 15 years’ experience in supervisory position if no degree

• Kaizen/ lean concepts project experience preferred
