Job Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have experience in primarily TIG welding and MIG welding.
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, particularly on aluminum materials, to produce high-quality welds with minimal defects.
- Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with different grades and types of aluminum and their corresponding welding requirements.
- Two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
- Weld small and large components such as steel tubing, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required, and technical secondary education is preferred.
- Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
- Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
- Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
- Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection
