We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Administrative Technical Writer Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will develop foundational technical writing skills while supporting the creation, maintenance, and control of documentation critical to the assembly and manufacturing processes. This position is ideal for individuals interested in technical writing and process documentation within an electronics manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and control work instructions and build documentation for product assembly.
Ensure documentation is accurate, current, and compliant with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information and verify technical content.
Scan, file, and track build history documents to maintain traceability.
Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) processes to ensure timely and accurate documentation updates.
Maintain a document control system, including numbering systems and Master Record filing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred (especially with a focus or interest in Technical Writing).
0–3 years of related experience in documentation, manufacturing, or administrative support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and assembly documentation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in visual and written formats.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes is preferred.
