Technician

Location: Manchester, CT

Compensation: $23–$27 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Hourly

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Technician to join our manufacturing team in Manchester, CT. This hands-on position is responsible for assembling, molding, packaging, and supporting various production and facility operations. You’ll work closely with Engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality output and adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble/disassemble manufacturing tooling

• Prepare and assemble propeller blade materials and components for Resin-Transfer-Molding (RTM)

• Mold propeller blades with support from Engineering

• Assist with propeller assembly and product installation

• Receive, inspect, and document Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) deliveries

• Support incoming inspections of raw materials and purchased parts

• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with inventory counts

• Manage non-conforming product area (MRB)

• Participate in internal and external audits for AS9100D certification

• Follow work instructions, procedures, and attend training as needed

• Support continuous improvement initiatives

• Perform business errands and maintain shop/office supply inventory

• Assist with facility upkeep and improvements

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 0–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent experience)

• Extremely high attention to detail

• Technical aptitude and ability to work with minimal supervision

• Composite manufacturing experience is a plus

• Strong collaboration skills; able to work well with Engineering and cross-functional teams

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
