Job Description

Job Description: As a Health Plan Inside Sales Representative, you will:

  • Conduct direct sales of Health Plan products via phone, email, and in-person appointments.
  • Identify sales opportunities, educate potential members, and complete enrollments.
  • Follow up on prospective members to ensure satisfaction.
  • Perform administrative tasks, maintaining accurate information in all systems and databases.
  • Manage your sales pipeline efficiently.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales metrics, including sales numbers, close rates, activity completion, and documentation quality.
  • Participate in process improvement events and other assigned projects.
  • Mentor new and temporary sales representatives.
  • Gather market intelligence to inform marketing strategies and plan design.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

 

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or customer service required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales-related software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support new team members.
  • Great to have- State Life & Health Insurance Producer’s License for areas of service

    Successful completion of 24 continuing education credits, at least 3 credits have to focus on ethics,  to maintain producer license required every 2 years
