Position: Tool / Mold Maker
Location: Lancaster, PA (on-site)
Schedule:  Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Compensation: $35 -$39 /hr (Dependent on Experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
 
Position Summary: This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all plastic injection molds/tools.
 
Essential Responsibilities:  
  • Troubleshooting, repairing and modifying molds by cleaning, grinding and polishing
  • Use various machining processes (milling, grinding, EDM) to maintain molds and fabricate ejector pins 
  • Partnering with internal teams to understand requirements and recommend enhancements for mold performance 
  • Ensure molds meet quality and precision standards to manufacture custom products
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Ideal candidate Experience:
  • Previous experience in Tool/Mold Making for plastic injection molding
  • Willingness to adhere to established procedures and specifications 
  • Ability to accurately review blueprints and read, write, and communicate in English
  • Proven experience maintaining accurate records and inventory
Physical Demands of position:
  • The ability to manage several projects at one time with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in loud manufacturing environment
  • Occasional need to bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent walking / standing
