Are you a skilled Tool Maker looking for an exciting opportunity with a leading technology innovator? HW Staffing’s client is seeking a talented Tool Maker to join our team in Rochester, NY! What You'll Do:
  • Design, fabricate, and modify a wide variety of precision tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges from blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on existing tooling to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Inspect and verify dimensions of finished tools using precision measuring instruments such (e.g., micrometers, calipers, optical comparators).
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company safety procedures.
Who We're Looking For:
         - Precision Machinist Apprenticeship 
  • Proven experience as a Tool Maker with a strong understanding of machining principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Expertise in operating a variety of manual and CNC machine tools.
  • Strong knowledge of various metals and materials used in tool fabrication.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant technical training, apprenticeship, or certification is highly desirable.
