Toolmaker
Job Description

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $30–$50/hour (based on experience)
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines using Mastercam
- Build, repair, and modify molds, tooling, and fixtures
- Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T specifications
- Machine tight-tolerance components and complex geometries
- Troubleshoot tooling and mold performance issues
- Support mold sampling and production trials
- Assemble tooling and mold components to specifications
- Maintain quality, safety, and housekeeping standards in the toolroom
- 2+ years of toolmaking or mold making experience
- Strong CNC milling experience in a toolroom environment
- Proficiency with Mastercam Mill (required)
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and tight tolerances
- Trade school or apprenticeship in Tool & Die, Toolmaking, or Mold Making preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Toolroom / manufacturing setting
- Overtime and occasional weekends may be required
- PPE required; forklift training provided if needed
