Job Title: Fast-Paced Truss Builder / Assembler
Location: New London, NC
Pay Rate: $19 + Production Bonuses
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
About the Role
We are hiring experienced, high-energy Truss Builders who thrive in a high-speed production environment. If you know how to build wood roof and floor trusses quickly without sacrificing quality or accuracy, we want you on our team in New London, NC.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fast-Paced Assembly: Quickly lay out cut lumber on gantry tables, align metal connector plates, and set components per truss blueprints.
  • Machinery & Tool Operation: Secure plates using hydraulic presses, roller presses, pneumatic nail guns, and hammers at production pace.
  • Quality & Output: Verify dimensions and plate placement rapidly to meet daily piece-rate and yield targets.
  • Staging & Packaging: Offload, stack, and band completed trusses efficiently for yard transport.
Requirements
  • Direct experience building roof or floor trusses in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
  • Proven ability to thrive and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient at reading truss engineering drawings and using a tape measure with speed and precision.
  • Physical capacity to lift 50+ lbs, bend, and move constantly over a 10-hour shift.
