Job Description

Summary: Under direct supervision from the Inventory Supervisor, performs inventory related tasks to maintain an accurate perpetual inventory while providing support to the Warehouse, WIP, Production.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. 

 

  1. Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

 

  1. Performs physical cycle counts daily.

 

  1. Assists in the End of Month Physical Counts.

 

  1. Utilize MAS500 ERP system to make necessary inventory adjustments.

 

  1. Understands and can complete all warehouse transactions that have a direct affect to inventory.

 

    1. Receiving
    2. Shipping
    3. Vendor Returns
    4. Customer Returns
    5. Bin Transfers
    6. Physical Counts
    7. Manufacturing

 

  1. Performs inventory lookups via MAS500 or RF.

 

  1. Understand and can complete all necessary tasks within DCSC Warehouse Automation.

 

  1. Communicates errors for areas of training opportunities or process improvements.

 

  1. Complete the ECO (Use As Is) process.

 

  1. All other duties assigned.

 

 

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  1. Must be able to count
  2. A valid driver’s license.
  3. 1st shift position
  4. Travel may be required for other facilities

 

 

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

 

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet software and database software..

 

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
