Job Description

HW Staffing’s client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Shipper to join our team in North Haven, CT. The Warehouse Shipper will be responsible for the accurate and efficient shipping of finished goods, ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling.
  • Verify the accuracy of orders and shipping documents.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment.
  • Inspect shipments for damages or defects and report any issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update shipping information in the system.
  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a shipper in a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand shipping documents and instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
