- Inspire and Educate: Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for new warehouse associates, utilizing our existing learning resources like SOPs, hands-on models, and visual aids.
- Unlock Potential: Monitor trainee progress, providing personalized coaching and mentoring to help them excel and reach their full potential.
- Identify Growth Opportunities: Analyze training needs and proactively recommend targeted training plans to enhance team skills.
- Suggest and implement improved methods and procedures, or even establish entirely new ones to optimize our operations.
- Observe and evaluate trainees to gauge their progress and assess the effectiveness of our training programs.
- Provide regular and insightful reports to management, detailing training hours and the specific skills achieved by our new team members.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in a warehouse environment – you know the ins and outs!
- Solid knowledge of warehousing best practices, safety regulations, and efficient operations. You're also comfortable operating warehouse equipment, including handheld scanners.
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ideally including Logiwa, S1W, and handheld scanners – you're tech-savvy in the warehouse!
- Ability to easily understand and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals – you're detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
- Self-starter mentality: You're capable of following instructions and working independently with confidence.
- Exceptional collaboration skills: You can work effectively with all levels of management, your peers, and our enthusiastic new trainees.
- You have previous experience in training or mentoring others – you're a natural teacher!
- You have experience in writing or editing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) – you can document best practices effectively.
- You're bilingual in Spanish – you can connect with an even wider range of our team!
- You have knowledge of multiple WMS (Invia, Signal, Logiwa, etc.) – you're a WMS whiz!
