Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership
- Oversee daily wholesale outbound activities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Assign labor and prioritize workflow based on order volume, carrier schedules, and customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with routing guides, labeling, palletization, packing standards, and shipping documentation.
- Coordinate dock operations and maintain adherence to standard operating procedures and WMS processes.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates.
- Conduct shift meetings, safety talks, and operational updates.
- Support onboarding, training, and performance management initiatives.
Performance & Quality
- Monitor key metrics including productivity, accuracy, SLA performance, and shipping compliance.
- Investigate and resolve issues such as shortages, damages, mispicks, and late shipments.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Ensure shipment quality, documentation accuracy, and customer compliance requirements are met.
Systems & Collaboration
- Utilize WMS tools to manage order status, exceptions, and inventory-related issues.
- Partner with Inventory Control, Transportation, and Operations teams to resolve challenges and maintain service levels.
- Communicate operational performance, risks, and priorities to leadership and provide effective shift handoffs.
Safety
- Promote a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
- Address safety concerns, equipment issues, and incidents promptly.
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or fulfillment experience.
- 1+ year of leadership experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Knowledge of wholesale shipping processes, routing guides, labeling, palletization, and shipping documentation.
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience in retail compliance or chargeback-prevention environments.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Experience working in automated or technology-enabled distribution operations.
