Job Description

    • Follows customer’s specifications on packaging product; packages product by doing the following:
    • Nails chucks on skid to hold spool in place
    • Straps spool to skid in order to hold spool in place.
    • Places cardboard in spool to protect it for shipping.
    • Labels cardboard with proper customer identification number and spool number.
    • Wraps spool in plastic.
    • Weighs spool on scale; records weight.
    • Transports spools with forklift and places it on warehouse floor.
    • Cleans his/her work area.
    • Performs other duties at, or above, the same skill level at the discretion of the Supervisor.
    • Overall awareness and understanding that Hope Global operates within the EMS 14001 & QMS 16949 management systems

     

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Up to and including three (3) months working in a manufacturing environment
