Job Description

  • Read Blueprints: Interpret drawings, work orders, and cut lists for dimensions and assembly steps.
  • Inspect Parts: Check wood pieces for defects (warping, knots) and verify measurements before starting.
  • Assemble & Fasten: Join components using wood glue, dowels, screws, and pneumatic nail/staple guns.
  • Clamp & Square: Use clamps and squares to hold pieces in place and ensure units are perfectly level.
  • Install Hardware: Attach hinges, drawer slides, handles, and knobs.
  • Sand & Clean: Use hand or orbital sanders to smooth joints and scrape away excess glue.
  • Quality Check: Ensure finished products meet specifications and moving parts operate
